Your note was a timely reminder today – lots of things changing hour by hour, many things out of my control, and it has been incessant so thank you from the bottom of my heart – you gave me pause to remember all that I have to be grateful for.

I just wanted to say thank you for my afternoon tea which has just arrived.

I so connected with this story in many ways – from sitting around the open fire with my Grandfather, sharing his stories about what he had done on the farm that day, to walking into my Father’s family homestead and seeing the fresh milk sitting on top of the fridge with the crocheted milk topper. To spending countless afternoons with my Mum and talking through everything – from world affairs, to what’s happening with the neighbour’s, to what I wanted to do with my life, to listen to her open-mindedness and being ahead of her times in many ways – the little things that we all take for granted especially now that we are restricted with many things in our lives.

Your note was a timely reminder today – lots of things changing hour by hour, many things out of my control, and it has been incessant so thank you from the bottom of my heart – you gave me pause to remember all that I have to be grateful for.
