Hi, it’s Stacey Ashley here and I’m going to talk to you today about what ‘being’ a coach means.
This is a question that I get asked a lot. What does it mean to ‘be’ a coach? What is ‘being’ a coach?
It means different things for different people but for me it’s about embodying coaching. So we can ‘know what to do’ as a coach. We can ‘do it’, but really when we bring our all to coaching, it’s the ‘being’. We embody it, we have complete congruence, and we’re bringing all of our resources to the coaching process. You can’t help but offer the optimum experience to your coachees when you are ‘being’ a coach.
My challenge to you is how are you going to create that opportunity for your coachees? Going beyond knowing and doing, to ‘being’ a coach. How are you going to give them the opportunity to have a great coaching space, that allows them to do great work, simply because you’re in their presence ‘being’ a coach?
This is Stacey Ashley from @ashleycoaching and I’d love to hear your thoughts.
